It is with deep regret and heavy heart I have to advise, following on the direction of the United Kingdom Government, The Scottish Government and the Church authorities, that both St. Cuthbert’s Church and Our Lady’s Church in Currie will be closed completely until further notice.

Archbishop Cushley has suggested we pray the Memorare each day.

Along with our Holy Father Pope Francis, please pray for those for whom this has become a tragedy. Don’t forget those in self-isolation, especially the elderly and vulnerable. Please reach out to them either by phone or social media; offer help, and let them know they are not forgotten. Remember all those in our medical profession, doctors, nurses, support workers and care workers who are in the front line of our defence and treatment of the virus.

Please let us pray for one another as we face this unprecedented and worrying time in the life of the Church.
