Next Saturday/Sunday there will be a box at the back of the Church into which you can put petitions for prayer to be taken to Lourdes on the Archdiocesan Pilgrimage. Diary Dates:

22nd June: Celebration of Confirmation and First Holy Communion in St. Cuthbert’s during the 10.00 a.m. Mass. Please remember to pray for the boys and girls who will be marking this special day on their journey of faith.

24th June: Joint meeting of the Parish Pastoral Councils of St. Cuthbert’s and Our Lady’s in the Church Hall at Our Lady’s. Councillors please make every effort to attend this very important meeting to review the constitution of the Councils and, if necessary, update it prior to new Councils being created in the autumn in both Parishes.

28th June: Annual Parish Barbeque and Quiz night.  Tickets are priced at £6 for adults and £3 for children with all proceeds going to the Parish Projects. Tickets are available after Mass.

The Parish Project SponsoredWalk beginning at Our Lady’s in Currie and finishing in St. Cuthbert’s Hall duly took place last Sunday.  25 people were involved some taking longer than others to finish but then that might have been due to a detour they made !  Please hand in any money you have earned by the end of the month.

With every best wish and blessing to you,

your families

and all those who are dear to you

Monsignor Tony.
