Today: There will be a retiral collection at both Masses for the Aged & Infirm Clergy Fund of the Archdiocese which helps look after those priests who have given long years of service to the Dioceses and are now enjoying a well earned retirement.

Today: The new issue of Living Faith is available from the stall. Those of you who have it ordered please collect it as soon s possible.

Sunday: Full service has resumed for the Coffee Morning after Mass i.e. bacon rolls etc. This weekend the Noisy Nutters will be in charge.   Why not make time to pop round to the Hall and see what is on offer as well as meeting fellow parishioners.

The monthly draw for the 200 Club will also take place.

Sunday: The first National Youth Pilgrimage to St. Margaret’s Dunfermline will take place organised by the Catholic Youth Service of Scotland beginning at 1.30 p.m. Full details on the poster in the porch.

Tuesday: Meeting for parents of P3 children who will be preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation in 2015. It is important for each child to be represented but the children themselves do not need to be present. The meeting is at 7.00 p.m. in the Church Hall.

Thursday: Edinburgh Catholic Schools Community Mass for all existing staff, teaching and non teaching and any former staff members. It is at 7.00 p.m. in St. Catharine’s Convent.  Refreshments will be served after the Mass.  All welcome.

Friday: Following on a previous successful event, there will be a Cheese and Wine Tasting Evening in the Church Hall from 7.00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m. There will be a guide to take you through wines and selection of cheeses. Tickets, priced £12 (over 18s only) and further information can be obtained from Stuart Harley (07717 193425) or by signing on the list at the back of the Church.  Proceeds will go to the Parish Project Fund.  More details are on the poster at the back of the Church. But don’t leave it too long since a maximum of 25 places are available.

14th November:The proposed Talent Show is in danger of having to be postponed due to a lack of participants. There is a list at the back of the Church on which you can sign up and entry is open from P7 upwards to any age.  If you intend taking part please sign up today so that the organisers know whether it would be a viable evening.
