Today:  We begin collecting for the homeless here in the City of Edinburgh with the gifts being distributed via the St. Catharine’s Convent Homeless Project. Today: Lists are at the back of the Church on which Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, Passkeepers, people willing to help with the social activities in the Hall after Mass are asked to sign up. There is a separate list for Altar Servers in the Sacristy. Today is the final opportunity to sign up on all the lists if you wish to be involved.

Sunday: The Coffee Morning in the Hall will be organised by the Vocations Group this week. All are welcome to the Hall after Mass. The half yearly draw for the 200 Club will also take place with prizes of £200 and £50 going to the lucky winners.

Monday: Penitential Service in St. Cuthbert’s at 7.00 p.m. There will be six priests available to give you the opportunity of coming to confession as part of your Advent preparation.

Tuesday: An Advent evening of reflection through prayer and Christmas music led by the Dovecot Singers in St. Catharine’s Convent at 7.30 p.m. There will be a collection for the St. Catharine’s Homeless Project.  All welcome.

Thursday: Mass at 7.00 p.m. instead of 9.00 a.m. The evening Mass will be followed by a big Christmas Church Cleaning.  This is needed since the way the rota works there is no opportunity for the Church to be cleaned before Christmas. Any help by anyone will be appreciated.
